Veg Club: Gardening Classes at the Library (Virtual Monthly Meetings)

If you want to start a vegetable garden or improve the one you have, Veg Club can help. These classes cover everything from beginner basics to specialized local resources for experienced growers. And they’re FREE! (Thanks, Kitsap Regional Library and Bainbridge Prepares Food Resiliency Team!)

Veg Club meets every 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm on ZOOM.

• Apr 4^th: Creating Great Soil

• May 2^nd: Common Pests and Diseases

• Jun 6^th: Eat from Your Garden in Fall & Winter

• Jul 6^th: (**Thursday**): Preserving Your Harvest

• Aug 1^st: Fruit Tree Field Trip

• Sept 5^th: Storing Your Harvest in Garden, Garage, and Pantry

• Oct 3^rd:  Field Trip: Natural Fermentation Class

Veg Club is presented in partnership with the Bainbridge Prepares Food Resiliency Team (because growing food is part of being prepared) and the Bainbridge Branch of the Kitsap Regional Library (because vegetable gardening is smart, healthy and cool)

These classes are totally FREE and pre-registration is not required (simply log on for a 6:30pm start!)
