Learn the essential safety skills needed to explore the Great Northwest in the winter! This class will discuss how to layer and why it’s important, what types of boots and snowshoes you will need for different terrain. We will discuss how to stay out of avalanche danger by providing some essential snow travel tips along with critical websites you should review before any trip into the snow and mountains.
