Military Families! MWR will be hosting their Family Fishing Day on Bangor Submarine Base on Saturday, June 11th from 9am-1pm. There will be fishing opportunities for all ages. Keep everything you catch.
The event will include:
– FREE on-base fishing for the day
– Kids fishing/catching pond
– Music
– A limited supply of loaner fishing poles
– Fish weigh station
Informational displays from:
– Base environmental
– FREE National Parks pass for Active Duty, Retirees and Veterans
– Summer equipment demos and tastings
– Mountain bike demos and short trail rides
– Tent set up and take down instruction
– Trail hikes
– Camp food cooking demo and tasting
– Inflatable paddleboard pump up races for prizes
– Archery target shooting
