Military Families: Avalanche Awareness Workshops (Pre-Registration Required)

Learn about winter backcountry dangers, avalanche avoidance techniques, use of safety equipment, proper winter wear, and how to use an avalanche transceiver. This class is a prerequisite for the Ice Axe Arrest Class and Mt. St. Helens Summit. This class is informational and not a certification class.

Pre-Registration and base access are required. Cost is $5 per person. Open to all eligible patrons. Call 360-476-3178 to register.
