An annual tradition, and a must to kick off the holiday season!
Visit the Sons of Norway on Liberty Bay to experience Norwegian street food, Scandinavian vendors, and a Lucia Bride ushered to shore in a Viking boat! The evening culminates with the annual bonfire where you’ll witness the Viking King’s Winter Solstice Proclamation.
The Nordic Market will be held from 10:00-4:00pm in the Sons of Norway lodge featuring jewelry, rosemaling, collectables, wooden crafts, candles & soap and more! The Taste of Norway will also be held at the Lodge during the same hours.
At 5:00pm the Sons of Norway Vikings will escort the Lucia Bride from the water to the waterfront park and light the bonfire, accompanied by the winter proclamation.
